Het feestmaal van Cleopatra. Rechts ligt Cleopatra met ontblote borsten aan tafel, links zit Marcus Antonius. Om de tafel zijn verschillende gasten en leden van de hofhouding aanwezig. Voorgesteld is het moment waarbij Lucius Plancus verhindert dat Cleopatra een tweede parel uit haar oorbel neemt om in haar wijn te laten oplossen.
