L'Ecurie de la Poste is an etching created in 1753 by French printmaker Jean Moyreau. Measuring 369 by 479 millimeters, this work forms plate 73 in a remarkable series of 89 prints produced between roughly 1733 and 1762. The series reproduces paintings by the celebrated Dutch Golden Age artist Philips Wouwerman, whose lively scenes of horses, stables, and military life enjoyed immense popularity across Europe long after his death in 1668.
